These are a few of their favourite films

Celebrities share their favourite Hindi film that they can binge-watch every time.

Moh Se Chhal Kiye Jaaye actor Vijayendra Kumeria: I think 3 idiots is one of my favourite Bollywood movies which I can watch anytime, anywhere because It’s such a simple concept, but it touched our souls in many ways than one. The movie, while being so accurately realistic, is so funny that the people watching it literally laugh.

Disco Raja actress Tanya Hope: All the Akshay Kumar comedy movies from Hera Pheri to Welcome to Bhagam Bhag because I like to laugh when I watch a movie. This world needs more humour and love.

Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani actress Nupur Joshi: It’s the most difficult pick for me. One is Jagga Jasoos and the other is Jaane Bhi Do Yaaron. Both are the greatest films and were much ahead of their times.

Entrepreneur and social activist Nidarshana Gowani: Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge because this movie has romance, drama, comedy, culture, family bonding and teaching values. So yes, that is why this movie is my favourite.

Saath Nibhaana Saathiya 2 actress Vaishalee Thakkar: Padosan. You can watch it endless times and not get bored. It has an amazing cast and characterisation. The brilliant trio of Mehmood ji, my favourite Kishore Kumar ji and RD Burman ji are matchless. Ek chatur naar is a song that is based on pure classical notes, difficult to sing yet the song is humorous to a different level. It’s the best Hindi rom-com.

Sasural Genda Phool 2 actor Sham Mashalkar: Ajab Prem Ki Gajab Kahani as I was in that movie (laughs). I can watch this movie anytime, anywhere. This movie has romance. The songs in this movie are so good. Every time I watch this movie I remember the day we shot this movie. I have worked in 35-40 films, but I remember this movie so well because of the romance. The essence of this movie is so good.

Kawach actress Pranitaa Pandit: Andaz Apna Apna. I think that’s my all-time favourite movie.

Maaf Karna singer Reyen Eyes: It has got to be Main Hoon Na. I am such a fan of Shah Rukh Sir and the director himself. I am always on the lookout for someone who loves the combination of that kind of pain and comedy, so that I can binge-watch it.
