Rashmika Mandanna gets trolled for saying Bollywood songs are more romantic

Rashmika Mandanna, an actress from South India, recently made a statement about Bollywood romantic songs at the launch of her new song “Rabba Janda” with co-star Sidharth Malhotra. Rashmika stated that growing up, she considered romantic songs to be a product of Bollywood, while South Indian cinema primarily produced “mass masala, item numbers, and dance numbers.”

Some people were supportive of Rashmika’s statement and agreed that Bollywood has traditionally had the best romantic songs, while others were offended by her comment that South Indian cinema was limited to certain types of music.

Some people on social media accused Rashmika of speaking without thinking and stereotyping the industries, while others defended South Indian cinema and stated that they were proud of the “masala and item numbers” that added excitement to movies.
