Finance minister Nirmala Sitharaman discharged after hospitalisation

India’s Finance Minister, Nirmala Sitharaman, has been discharged from the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) after a three-day hospitalization for viral fever. She was admitted to the hospital on Monday and was placed in a private ward.

Official sources have stated that her illness is not serious and that she is recovering well. Despite suffering from symptoms of viral fever, Sitharaman is said to be doing well.
